2026 Honda HR-V LX vs 2026 Honda HR-V Sport

Serving Chicago, IL

The 2026 HR-V is Honda's smallest crossover SUV, and it is flawlessly designed to meet all of your needs for comfort and functionality on the road. The HR-V entered its second generation in 2023, and it offers several mid-generation updates in 2026. These updates are all found in the tech features inside the cabin. The HR-V is available in the LX, Sport, and EX-L trim levels. What are the differences between the LX and Sport trim levels?

Performance

Every 2026 Honda HR-V has the same engineering. This small crossover gets 158 horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque from a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine. The continuously variable transmission and standard front-wheel drive are included. As an upgrade, every trim level offers all-wheel drive.

Appearance

The Honda HR-V is styled with a balance of graceful, flowing elements and modern, edgy accents. The short, angled hood rolls into a small, rounded grille. The bumper rounds outward and tucks into the air inlets. The wide headlights taper sharply inward as they approach the grille. The roof is gently arched, while the sides have both crisp and smooth definition. The V-spoke wheels add an upgraded touch. The LX's exterior features are auto high-beam assist and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Sport adds a distinctive grille, heated side mirrors, and 18-inch glossy-black wheels.

Features

In 2026, all trim levels for the HR-V get a larger 9-inch infotainment system screen, wireless device charging, and wireless connections for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The LX also comes with three USB ports, a push-button ignition, a four-speaker sound system, auto emergency braking, lane centering, adaptive cruise control, lane departure mitigation, and road sign assistance. The Sport adds a blind-spot warning system, heated front seats, remote engine start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and keyless entry.
