What's New for the 2025 Honda HR-V Sport?
The 2025 HR-V is the smallest crossover SUV in the Honda lineup. It offers an affordable price tag, a sporty look, and quality features. Three trim levels are available: LX, Sport, and EX-L. All trim levels are unchanged for 2025. The HR-V Sport offers a smart balance between price and features as the mid-level trim.
The HR-V Sport and the other trim levels for the 2025 model year have a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. This unit delivers 158 horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque and is linked to a continuously variable auto transmission. Front-wheel drive is included, or you can upgrade to an all-wheel drive.
The HR-V's façade was boldly enhanced in the 2023 model year when the second generation was released. This design will continue into 2025. While the HR-V is a subcompact crossover, it has a tall, arched roof to provide ample headroom in the cabin. The rear is strongly raked. Across the sides, deep, crisp sculpting combines with molding over the rounded fenders. The flat hood makes a sharp descent toward the rounded nose. The thick, horizontal headlights taper into a point, drawing attention to the small, down-turned grille. The Sport trim has exterior features like 18-inch glossy black wheels, heated side mirrors, and keyless entry. Its grille is also distinctive from the other trim levels.
The HR-V Sport comes with all of the cabin and safety features that the base LX has, and it adds several more. The base features for the HR-V are Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, three USB ports, a 7-inch touch display screen, a four-speaker audio system, a push-button starter, auto emergency braking, lane centering, adaptive cruise control, road sign assist, and others. The Sport trim level adds a remote engine start, a blind-spot warning, a rear cross-traffic sensor, two more speakers, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and heated front seats.
