What's New for the 2025 Honda CR-V?
The Honda CR-V has long been a preferred option for crossover SUV shoppers in the Chicago area. In Honda's current SUV lineup, the CR-V is placed between the HR-V and the Pilot, providing shoppers with the perfect middle-ground option. This two-row model launched its latest generation in 2023. With extensive updates made to the CR-V at that time, Honda has not introduced additional improvements for the 2025 model year. The CR-V is a compact crossover that comes in six trim options and both gas and hybrid powertrains.
Five of the six trim levels for the 2025 model year have a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that yields 190 horsepower. They are offered with front-wheel drive and a continuously variable automatic transmission. The 2025 CR-V Sport is the only trim with a hybrid four-cylinder engine. The 204-horsepower system includes standard all-wheel drive and a CVT.
Across the exterior, the 2025 Honda CR-V is identical to the 2024 version. Its effortless aesthetics are established by subtle accents across the hood and sides and a flowing profile. The wheels are boldly styled with thick spokes, and dark molding lines the CR-V's lower perimeter from bumper to bumper. The curved nose is dressed up with angled air inlets and LED-enhanced, slender headlights. The inverted grille features a wide, innovative mesh design.
