 What's New for the 2024 Honda HR-V?

The compact Honda HR-V crossover debuted its second generation in 2024, bringing fresh styling and other updates for drivers to enjoy. Because last year's HR-V was extensively updated, the 2024 model year has no additional updates. What can you expect from the 2024 HR-V?

The updated style introduced in last year's HR-V and continuing to this year's version is both sporty and pleasing to the eyes. From the waterfall drop at the front of the hood to the dramatically raked rear, the HR-V's profile expresses confidence. Dark molding runs from bumper to bumper, and the sides are aggressively accented with deep, crisp, and angled contouring. The rounded nose includes small air intakes, a black grille, and wide LED headlights that point inward. Outer features available in some or all of the three trim levels are a moonroof, 17-inch or 18-inch wheels, and tinted rear windows.

The 2024 Honda HR-V is nimble and fun to drive. Its powertrain system includes a 158-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine, and a continuously variable auto transmission. Front-wheel drive is the standard drivetrain for all trims. All trims are also available with optional all-wheel drive.

Because of the raked rear, the 2024 Honda HR-V offers ample space for passenger seating and cargo. Suppose you decide to drive home in the base Honda HR-V LX. In that case, your crossover will be equipped with push-button ignition, a 7-inch touch display screen, three USB ports, an auto climate control system, a four-speaker audio system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, and a forward collision warning with mitigation assistance.

The mid-range Sport trim adds two speakers to the sound system, heated front seats, a remote engine start, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The top-of-the-line HR-V EX-L is also outfitted with wireless smartphone app connections, leather upholstery, parking sensors, an auto-dimming rear mirror, a 9-inch touch display screen, an eight-speaker sound system, a wireless charging pad, a two-zone auto climate control system, and ambient cabin lighting.
