 What's New for the 2024 Honda CR-V?

The sixth generation of the Honda CR-V launched in 2023 with significant upgrades throughout the vehicle, and for the 2024 model year, Honda has made an exciting update to the CR-V lineup. A new Sport-L trim has been added, placing the trim levels in order from lowest to highest as follows: LX, EX, Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Sport Touring. The Sport-L combines the appealing features of the EX-L and Sport trims. It's equipped with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder hybrid engine that produces 204 horsepower. The CR-V Sport-L's exterior includes dark accents and roof rails, while inside you can enjoy features like dual rear USB ports, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, front and rear parking sensors, leather upholstery, low-speed auto braking, an eight-speaker sound system, a wireless charging station, a power liftgate, driver's memory settings, and wireless connectivity for smart device apps.

The same hybrid engine is also available in the Sport and Sport Touring trim levels. Other 2024 CR-V trims feature a 190-horsepower, four-cylinder turbo 1.5-liter engine with a CVT. All trims, except for the Sport Touring, offer a choice between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The Sport Touring trim comes with standard all-wheel drive.

The features offered across the existing trim levels remain the same. The base LX trim includes a four-speaker sound system, a 7-inch touch display screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a push-button ignition, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with auto braking, and lane-keeping assistance. Higher trims build on these features, offering additions such as a moonroof, heated front seats, an upgraded sound system, and dual-zone climate control. The top Sport Touring trim also includes features such as blind-spot monitoring, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, rear cross-traffic sensors, a hands-free liftgate, a heated steering wheel, a navigation system, and ambient cabin lighting.
